The other three Cardinal Hero mofos are as useless and egotistical as ever. Three Cardinal Heroes... THREE... Three fuɔking CARDINAL HEROES couldn't defeat one Vassal Weapon Wielder... They lost miserably probably because of poor teamwork 😒

You know, if this was properly animated and no storyboards were discarded or omitted, the season might've been longer like S1, and also proper.

I wonder who will be replacing naofumi's voice actor sadly passed away from stage 4 colon cancer.

Stephen Fu is the name of the new English VA for Naofumi. you might recognize him as Henry Legolant in Black Clover (the Black Bull with the long blue hair that talks really really slow. he's the one that absorbs magic and keeps the Black Bulls' homebase safe, and turns it into the walking mecha), Lance Crown in Mashle, Alice Asmodeus in Welcome to Demon School Iruma, and more recently Yoichi Shigaraki in My Hero Academia (he's All for One's younger brother and the one who originated the Quirk One For All).

I like this episode, the others and the plot so far is ok'ish to me.
I don't expect every series to plateau at such a high tier level as the first season,
if we think about it, all series are best within the first few seasons until the topics are covered or drained.

And I like Rishia, in this episode she was to upset to even think about her insecurities; good!
I'd also embrace her when she's insecure and in need for protection, cutie <3

So far this season has sadly sucked and been disappointing! While it's a shame the previous VA is having health problems, this new one, while he's not a bad replacement, it doesn't help the fact that this season just doesn't have enough impact like the first did! It was a steady rise of interest and intrigue, you got continuous joy out of the enemies gradually getting what they deserved, and now it just seems like we got to a peak, and instead of climbing to greater heights, we're beginning to plummet.. I would've been content with a steady plateau of storyline, rather than it going downhill! It seems too cheesy and the pacing/bonding with rishia and the tortoise chick is unrealistic and rushed, not to mention but the fighting has been nothing special and this new villain guy is so bad.. corny and badly written and portrayed! He's all over the place and not just because he's like a nutcase, but just in an overall bad way! So far, it's making no sense why those three are helping a world they plan to decimate.. and what the hell happened to rishia.... she didn't sound the same, act the same, had a whole bunch of new abilities come out of nowhere! She goes from that, straight back to her whiny crybaby normal self, which I always find character's like that to be over the top annoying and unnecessary! The whole suits thing is right up there as well with her character! It also makes no sense that you'd want to be around and help someone who cast you aside like you were nothing.. ugh god, lol the more I think about and talk about rishia, the more she fucking bugs me! Like hey, you kicked me out, wanted nothing to do with me, let those other teammates be shifty towards me, but hey.. I still wanna be there for you and help you! Pathetic and stupid!

This season has so many unexplained, dumb or missing gaps and or scenes... Just this episode made the season so much worse. I had high hopes because of the last season, but this is unacceptable.

That was... underwhelming, now we moving to another world? It doesn't look like this season is getting any better. I just wanted to see the 3 moronic heros get an attitude change but nothing so far, guess you can't make omelette without breaking eggs. At least they useful to somebody, the wrong somebody.
By the way, 3 moronic heros is such an appropriate description. 😅😅

This episode is as far as I got when this season was airing.....
yeah there's a few decent parts here and there but if you watched the first episode and then this episode.... I don't think you'd really miss anything. No character development.
Only Rishia and only in this one episode... Ost Hourai was supposed to represent some level of royalty + beauty but set beside all those garbage 'warcouncil' idiots Ost Hourai became as one-dimensional as they were.. just a plot device - not a real character.

That asshole villain really got some good dialogues and dubbing.
